Legal Status
Saint John of God Housing Association is a not-for-profit company, limited by guarantee. The Housing Association is governed by its Memorandum and Articles of Association and is run by a Board of Directors. The Board is comprised of volunteers from professional backgrounds in law, property, local authority and finance. Our Board members donate their services and time for free. The Housing Association does not solicit or receive charitable donations from the public or from businesses. A Board of Management has oversight of the Housing Association. It’s office is located at “Granada”, Stillorgan, Co. Dublin.
The Housing Association is registered and compliant with the Voluntary Regulation Code for Approved Housing Bodies, which is a statutory regulation requirement for all approved housing bodies.
Our Housing Association is also compliant and registered with the Charities Regulatory Authority.
All of our tenancies are registered with the Residential Tenancies Board, which provides a framework for resolving tenant-landlord disputes.
